I’ve signed up. Now what?

Your team leader will contact you to introduce themselves and help you connect with the team.

I don’t know what to do! Will there be training?

Yes. You will be provided with training. Your team leader(s) will work with you.

On the night of the event, how do I check in as a volunteer?

Our team will be there to meet you. Check in times will be provided.

  • You must check in before you can serve in your area and you must have your background check information filled out. Everyone needs to fill out a background check, unless you have volunteered during previous NTS proms and have a background check on file.

  • If you are younger than 18, your parents must sign a waiver for you to volunteer.


Where should I park?

Please save the parking at the Vern Burton Center for our honored guests.

You may park across the street. A parking team will be there to direct you.

Will there be food provided for volunteers?

Hot and cold snacks will be provided.

Where should I put my personal items when I’m at the event?

You can leave your personal items in your vehicle, but we cannot guarantee its safety.

Please leave as many items at home as you can.

What should I wear?

Dress according to the volunteer position you will be working in.

Buddies are asked to dress in semi-formal to fully formal attire.
